A USATF Certified (NH11009RF) ten-mile road race along low traffic roads through pretty New Hampshire countryside during Fall Foliage
season. There will be ample on-course support with volunteers at each turn, great music before and after the race, and an excellent variety of
good nutritional (and just plain good) post-race food. The race has been selected 2 times to be part of the New Hampshire Grand Prix series.
The Granite State 10 Miler was created to fill a gap in the New Hampshire road racing circuit. There are few races of this distance, which allows
an athlete to test his/her endurance at near 10-K race speed. The Granite State Racing Team initiated the event in 2011 making it a top New
England race that also benefits The Boys and Girls Club whose mission has a far-reaching and positive impact on the community. We have
a beautiful course, a great start/finish location, and excellent post-race food and celebration.
The race begins on the outskirts of quaint Concord, NH and winds its way through the rolling countryside northeast of the
city, travelling low-traffic roads with volunteers at each turn. There will be ample on course support, with 3 water and PowerAde stations. The average high temperature in Concord, NH during October is 61 degrees - excellent conditions to do your best!
